  1. maybe you were just blinking or either those two answers

  2. Maybe its not Jupiter

  3. Easy: birds, airplanes, balloon, a hat, a bat,

  4. It might be the wind.  Although the sky may appear clear, if there is enough wind, it will stir up the atmosphere.  That's why stars twinkle, but if there is a lot of atmospheric activity, it may cause planets to twinkle, too.

If it's a very slow flashing, then I don't know.  Jupiter shouldn't.  Some stars do that.

  5. Particles in the atmosphere, such as dust and others, can cause a refraction of the light a planet is reflecting or a star is emmiting.  This causes some stars to appear to flash a variety of colors, and may account for why Jupiter appears to flash, or even disappear for small moments.
