Jupp Heynckes: Breno never discussed his personal problems with us – Bundesliga news
Bayern Munich manager Jupp Heynckes has revealed that goalkeeper Breno never discussed his personal problems with him before setting his own villa on fire. It is believed that the Brazilian set his house on fire last week. The reasons are still to surface.
He was later taken to the hospital for initial treatment after which he got arrested by the police.
Heynckes was talking after the game against Bayer Leverkusen on Saturday, which the Bavarian giants won by a 3-0 margin. Thomas Muller scored the opening goal for the home side in the 5th minute. Comeback men http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arjen-Robben-c6521
scored the other two goals to seal a comfortable win for the table toppers.
Manager Heynckes, while talking to the press after the game, told that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Breno-c8038 apparently has some personal troubles which forced him to burn down his own house. He, though, stated that all these claims are mere speculations until anything gets confirmed.
Heynckes also expressed grievances at the goalie’s arrest and hopes to see his player come out innocent from all the developments.
While talking to a local news channel, the manager further enthused, "Before we can say anything concrete, we have to wait and see what happens after further investigations - otherwise this is all speculation. It was a big shock to us, that's for sure. The
boy [Breno] apparently had personal problems but that remained unnoticed because he acted normal.”
Breno, on the other hand, claims that he is innocent and the police are just wasting time. He mentioned that his house caught fire and this has nothing had to do with his personal problems. He hoped of returning to the training grounds and confirmed about
his innocence.
The manager concluded the talks by saying, “Although, on the day before the fire, he had problems with his knee. It had become inflamed again."
Breno joined the club in 2008 and has made 21 league appearances. The 21-year-old is also yet to appear for the Brazilian national side.
