The Bayern Munich manager is confident that his side will turn things around in their favour with a win over Stuttgart on Wednesday.
Jupp Heynckes has expressed confidence in his side’s abilities ahead of their German Cup quarter-final against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/VfB-Stuttgart-c40879. The Swabians will host Bayern on Wednesday, February 08, at the Mercedes-Benz-Arena as the Munich giants
look to win their record 16th German Cup title. Heynckes believes that his side will start as favourites despite the recent hiccups in the Bundesliga.
Bayern have managed to collect only four points since the start of the season’s second-half, out of a possible nine. The Bavarian giants succumbed to a 3-1 loss at the Borussia Park to Borussia Monchengladbach in the first game
after the restart before beating Wolfsburg and drawing level at Hamburg last week.
The manager insisted that the game against Stuttgart is a golden opportunity for his side to get things back on track. He claims that Bayern have enough quality in their ranks and a win on Wednesday will definitely help his side
regain confidence for the upcoming games in the Bundesliga and the UEFA Champions League.
While talking to the official club website, Heynckes further added:
"Wednesday's cup match is a welcome opportunity. We can deliver a performance which gives us the confidence and belief we need for our forthcoming matches, and one which is normally our hallmark."
On the other hand, the boss mentioned that his side needs to work hard to minimise their errors and regain their lead atop the league table. He confirmed that Bayern are looking forward to the Stuttgart clash, and are determined
to prove their worth after an uneasy spell in the last three league games.
“The most important thing we have to do is minimise our numerous minor errors. The players are aware of the situation, and that we have to continue working persistently, ambitiously and intensively. We've told the players in no
uncertain terms what they have to change, and what has to improve," Heynckes concluded.
Dortmund are so far the only team to have made it to the semi-finals, while the other three spots will be decided between Hoffenheim, Borussia Monchengladbach, Bayern Munich, Stuttgart, Greuther Furth and Hertha http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Berlin-c7536.
