The Bayern Munich manager has expressed his delight with his team’s outstanding performances thus far and hopes to go into the winter break with a win over FC Koln.
Bayern are set to host the Billy Goats on Friday, December 16, at the Allianz-Arena in a bid to maintain their supremacy at the top of the league table.
A win for Bayern will extend their lead at the top but a loss might bring them level on terms with other two title contenders, Borussia Dortmund and Schalke. Dortmund will play away to Freiburg on Saturday, December 17 while the

However, despite Koln’s unbeaten record at the Allianz-Arena, the Bayern manager is confident of a win on Friday.
The Billy Goats have not lost a single game at the Allianz-Arena in their last four visits and Koln manager, Stale Solbakken has already termed his side as ‘favourites’ for the contest.
Heynckes is confident of his team’s chances of winning the game but remains wary of the threat posed by a rejuvenated Koln side. The manager has urged his team to be on their toes from the first-minute as Koln will not be easy
opponents especially with the likes of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Lukas-Podolski-c22896 in their side.
While talking to Kicker magazine, the 66-year-old further enthused:
"The way we have played for long spells of this season has never been seen in the Bundesliga. Rarely has such football been seen in this country. We have played some attractive football for long periods.''
Podolski is currently the second leading goal-scorer in 2011/12 Bundesliga with 14 goals from 15 matches thus far. On the other hand, last season’s Golden Boot winner, Mario Gomez, currently tops the chart with 16 goals and is
likely to win the award for second time running.
Bayern would desperately want to win on Friday in order to strengthen their chances of winning the Bundesliga, having grabbed their last one in the 2009/10 season.
This will be the last game before the traditional winter break and league action will resume after a month-long break.
