The Bayern Munich manager has admitted that his side will find it hard to get a result at the Stade Velodrome on Wednesday against Olympique Marseille.

Heynckes admitted that the opposition is very strong when playing at home and insisted that his side will have to perform out of their skins to get something out of the game. The manager claimed that Marseille play physical football
and will be hard to beat in the crucial first-leg clash.
The former Bayer Leverkusen boss stated that Bayern have a lot of respect for the French giants and is wary of the threat Marseille can cause despite their ordinary form in the league.
“They are a great team with a great coach that I know well. I have got positive feelings about OM. We will try not to fall into their trap; Marseille are a difficult team, very physical. We expect a tough game in this stadium but
we are confident. I am focused on this match and we have a lot of respect for this team,” he was quoted as saying in an interview.
The tactician further added that it will be a big game for Frank Ribery as the French international faces his former club. He stated that the winger has been sensational all season and remained confident that the player will continue
performing in the remaining games.
“Ribery wanted OM in the draw and we understand his feelings [about the game]. He is having a sensational season and it would be great if he could win a European trophy in Munich,” he concluded.
The Munich based outfit is aiming to reach the final of the UEFA Champions League which is set to be played at Allianz Arena.
Bayern Munich are second on the Bundesliga standings table with 57 points from the 27 games played and are five points adrift of reigning champions Borussia Dortmund.
