The Bayern Munich manager has urged his players to impress during training in order to earn a place in the starting XI against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/VfL-Wolfsburg-c40881 on Saturday.
Jupp Heynckes has adopted a strict approach after his side’s defeat to Borussia Monchengladbach last weekend by asking his players to impress in training if they want to earn a place in the starting line-up.
He stated that no player will get the liberty and each one will have to train hard. Heynckes mentioned that he will decide on which player will play before the game, and there will be no playing guarantees ahead of the game.
Bayern recently suffered a 3-1 loss at the hands of the Foals on their trip away to the Borussia-Park last Friday, January 20. As a result of that defeat, the Reds have lost their lead atop the league standings and have drawn level
on points with Borussia Dortmund and Schalke.
While talking to the sports website, Bild.com, the tactician further stressed:
"You have to give good performances in training to establish yourself. I decide who will play close to the game, and I will make no concessions."
On the other hand, Brazilian defender, Rafinha, is certain to start following an injury to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Daniel-Van-Buyten-c10095. Van Buyten suffered from injury in his club’s last league game against the Foals. Jerome Boateng will shift to the heart
of the defence whereas Rafinha will play on the right side of defence.
Heynckes also confirmed Rafinha’s inclusion in the side, but urged him to grab his opportunity with both hands in order to cement his place for the future games.
The manager concluded: "Rafa is one who needs games and needs a boost. However, here at FC Bayern he must set the performance bar higher."
Bayern Munich will lock heads with Felix Magath’s VfL Wolfsburg on Saturday, January 28, at the Allianz-Arena. A win over Die Wolfe will enable the Reds to restore their lead at the top, with Borussia Dortmund, Schalke and Borussia
Monchengladbach keeping a close check on the their progress.
