The Bayern Munich manager has insisted that he is not leaving the club at the end of the season and denied any claims in the media of a possible exit.
Recent reports in the media suggested that the former Bayer Leverkusen boss will be resigning in the next few days after the disappointing loss at the hands of Chelsea in the UEFA Champions League final.
However, Heynckes has brushed aside any rumours and admitted that he will honour his current contract at the Allianz Arena. The manager’s deal at Bayern Munich is set to end in the summer of 2013 and he is prepared to lead the
club into next season.
The tactician claimed that he has no plans of leaving the club after a rather unlucky season and is confident of a strong comeback in the next campaign. The manager stated that he has the backing of the directors at the club and
will be the team’s coach for the next season.
Bayern Munich failed to secure silverware for the second year running as they ended in second place in the Bundesliga behind Borussia Dortmund. The side lost the German Cup final and the Champions League final to Dortmund and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786
respectively and ended the campaign trophyless.
“I have a contract until 2013 and I do not know why you are talking about my future. You can be sure that I know what to do,” Heynckes was quoted as saying in an interview.
On the other hand, the boss admitted that the Bayern squad needs some additions this summer to add more depth and quality. He insisted that certain areas need improvement and has also hinted that the side will sign a world-class
central midfielder.
“We still have to make significant changes as we need more strength in depth. We need more competition and more quality at the club,” he concluded.

more additions before the next season starts.
