Jupp Heynckes reveals managerial offers - Football News
Bayern Munich manager, Jupp Heynckes, has revealed that he has been approached by many clubs for a managerial position in the last few days.
Heynckes has insisted that he has been contacted by many clubs in the past few weeks. He claimed that there are many teams from abroad that need him for the next season. However, the manager added that his prime
focus at the moment is Bayern Munich, as he is still under contract with the Bavarian giants.
The Bavarian manager announced earlier that he would be retiring as a manager at the end of the current season which was the prime reason Bayern Munich approached Pep Guardiola for the post.
Guardiola will be the club’s manager from next season but Heynckes’ efforts cannot be ignored, as he has helped the club to the Bundesliga title and the team can add to that glory as they still have to feature
in the UEFA Champions League and the German Cup final.
Heynckes stated that he is honoured to have worked with Bayern Munich and wants to win further titles with the club.
“The whole world has contacted me and want to take me while I'm still under contract, but I'm just concentrating on the Champions League final and not on any negotiations. It was an honour to work here. It's
still great fun,” the former Borussia Monchengladbach player claimed.
The tactician refused to comment whether he will be taking the post for any other club next season or not but hinted that he is too old to go for a http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Germany-c2904. He stated that he would have thought
about it a decade back but not now.
“When I was 10, 15 years younger, I might have thought of a very profound commitment abroad. But you must remember that I am no longer the youngest,” he concluded.
Bayern Munich will be contesting in the UEFA Champions League final on May 25 at the Wembley Stadium in London. They will take on fierce rivals Borussia Dortmund in a mouth-watering tie. This will be Bayern’s
third European final in four years.
