Hi, I am going to Islands of Adventures this weekend and I planned on going on the Jurrasic Park Ride but im not a huge "ride" person. I do stuff but flip coasters and stuff really aint such a big interest with me. So is the drop at the end of the ride big and extreme or what? Can anyone tell me on personal experience or something? Thanks

  1. splash mountain. you drop in the dark, drop is steeper and longer. water tastes disgusting. make sure your mouth is closed before you hit the bottom of the drop. you will thank me.

  2. The last drop is AWESOME!!!  I love roller coasters.  You will really love it.  My cousin works in the gift shop at the Jurassic Park ride in Orlando.  Every one loves the final drop!!!

  3. It's kind of big. It's exactly like splash mountain.. except you'll see a HUUUUUGGE dinosaur, it looks like he's going to "eat" your boat and all of a sudden you drop. Make sure you hold on tightly when you see that sucker, it feels like you'll fly out of your seat

haha about the taste of the water... I always keep my mouth closed, I'm not one of those people who scream on rides, I enjoy it quietly lol

  4. It was a while since I have been on this ride, but from what I remember everyone made a huge deal out of the drop. I wasn't sure I wanted to go on it after the commotion. The ride is cool, and when you are getting to the drop you know it. I did not enjoy the drop but once it was over I was glad I got on the ride. If you have been on Splash Mountain at Disney's Magic Kingdom you should be okay. If you have been on the Tower of Terror at MGM then you should have no problems with the drop at all.

  5. nope sorry but let me know how that goes cuz i got season passes to I of A and Busch Gardens...have fun and it cant be that bad nothin like a montu or sheekra
