Jurgen Klopp: Borussia Dortmund’s Mario Gotze is happy at Signal Iduna Park
Borussia Dortmund manager Jurgen Klopp has revealed that the inspirational midfielder Mario Gotze is pleased with the proceedings at Signal Iduna Park. Klopp mentioned that the German has been in fine form this season and hoped that the player could maintain
his touch throughout the campaign.
He clearly stated that Gotze is by no means up for sale despite being heavily linked with the Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich. English Premier League sides http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 and Manchester United had also shown interest in the signatures of the youngster during this
summer.
Bayern President Uli Hoeness was all praise for the German teenager saying that the midfielder will be the priority target during the January transfer window. He further added that the 19-year-old has already impressed with his exquisite touch. The president
also congratulated Gotze on scoring his first international goal for his country against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Brazil-c2858 in an international friendly last month.
Klopp, on the other hand, was confident about Gotze’s stay at the club. He enthused that the midfielder will honour his remaining two years at the club. The manager further added that it’s up to the higher officials to decide upon the player’s contract extension.
He told that Gotze will not be sold to any German side, should he wish to make a move away from the club.
While talking to the reporters, Klopp stated, "Anyone who is not interested in Mario Gotze is clueless, to be honest. Accordingly, it's not a problem what Hoeness said. If the kid keeps developing, he will at some point be a target for Bayern Munich, but
this does not necessarily mean he will go there. At the moment there is nothing at all to say about it. Mario is very happy with us, we are totally satisfied with the situation."
Gotze received a red card in Dortmund’s last game against Bayer Leverkusen on Saturday, August 27, and is not eligible to feature against Hertha http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Berlin-c7536 in the club’s next match. The player has 3 league appearances under his belt so far this season from which
he has two assists and one goal.
