Jurgen Klopp: Mario Gotze is fine but tired – Bundesliga news
Borussia Dortmund fans have breathed a sigh of relief after learning about Mario Gotze’s injury status from manager Jurgen Klopp. The tactician has spoken about the player’s good health who complained of tiredness in his side’s 1-0 defeat to Hoffenheim.
Gotze was later substituted in the second half with midfielder http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Jakub-Blaszczykowski-c17616.
Klopp has revealed that the teenager suffered from cramps during the game against Hoffenheim and had to be taken off. The manager was pleased to know about the improving health of his young ace as Dortmund prepare to host Nurnberg on the coming weekend.
The tactician, though, was disappointed to see Gotze going off injured which further hampered his team’s chances of making a comeback against Hoffenheim. Dortmund lost their first away game of the new season by a 1-0 margin courtesy Sejad Salihovic’s ninth
minute free kick.
Majority of the Dortmund fans showed concern at Gotze’s 54th minute substitution. The manager told that the 19-year-old had back-to-back matches against Hamburg and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Brazil-c2858 which completely drained the midfielder. The 44-year-old was confident
about the player’s quick recovery and urged the medical staff to work hard on the German’s fitness. The youngster scored in the club’s opening game against Hamburg and later netted his first http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Germany-c2904 goal against Brazil.
While talking to the media, Klopp enthused, "Fatigue, physical fatigue.  The fact that Mario was tired after beating Hamburg and playing for the national side was clear to us. During the half-time break, he said that we should start thinking about making
a change.”
The manager further added, “I deserve the cash I make, because the media broadcast the messages, but I have to work with the consequences. It is rare that the public help in achieving goals, that's why I am not surprised things have been over-hyped."
Klopp took charge of the Black Yellows in 2008, guiding them to the DFB-Supercup triumph during the same year. Last season, he led his side to the Bundesliga title and also helped them earn a place in the UEFA Champions League.
Gotze is expected to be fit for Saturday’s game against Nurnberg at Signal Iduna Park.
