Klopp claimed that there is no possibility that Gotze would leave the club in the January transfer window. He responded to rumours that the London giants would be bidding for the player in the winter in order to add more quality

“Nothing can happen in January. Arsenal is only about 10 per cent of what is written in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Germany-c2904 so it's not a problem. Apparently Bayern Munich are interested in him. Nobody buys a player from Borussia Dortmund just like that.
Not even http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429,” he was quoted as saying in an interview.
Meanwhile, Gotze himself played down reports of leaving Dortmund next year and admitted that these rumours do not affect him. He insisted that he is happy with his current club and is delighted with the great start to the season.
He wants to progress in the UEFA Champions League and is confident that the team will perform like they did in the previous campaign.
“I've heard the rumours from the Premier League - but I never let that affect me. I'm only focused on Dortmund, now more than ever. This match comes at a good time for us. We need to win and that's our objective at Arsenal,” the
player added.
Borussia Dortmund lost their recent fixture to Arsenal in the UEFA Champions League and are most certainly out of the competition.
