The Borussia Dortmund manager has showered praise on his counterpart ahead of the clash with Bayern Munich at Signal Iduna Park.
The Signal Iduna Park outfit manager has revealed his admiration for the Bavarian boss and has insisted that Jupp Heynckes is one of the best tacticians the country has ever seen.
Klopp claimed that the manager has once again proven his worth with the success he has achieved with Bayern Munich this season especially considering the disappointing previous season the Bavarians had. The Munich outfit finished
third on the Bundesliga standings table last term and marginally qualified for the UEFA Champions League.
The Dortmund boss added that Heynckes is certainly one of the best coaches in the Bundesliga right now as he has the experience and quality. He hailed his counterpart and admitted that Heynckes will never give up on the league
title.
Jurgen Klopp stated that Jupp Heynckes has developed as every manager does with every passing year. The Borussian revealed that the Bayern boss used to take a lot of pressure in his early days as a manager but admitted that he
has become very cool and calm with each passing year.
“He is one of the most successful coaches around and is a sensationally pleasant colleague. I think that just as we all develop, Jupp has also developed. He used to be much tenser than he is today,” he was quoted as saying in an
interview.
The Borussia Dortmund coach admitted that he still learns a lot of things from Jupp Heynckes and stated that the Bavarian boss has been one of his idols.
“What we can learn from the great coaches is that one can remain normal in spite of all of the success. He has been truly exemplary [in this regard],” he concluded.
Borussia Dortmund will take on Bayern Munich in an all important Bundesliga clash on Wednesday, April 11, at the Signal Iduna Park. The clash is already being touted as the title decider as a win for Dortmund would certainly make
them favourites for the crown whereas a victory for Bayern would put them back in the race.
