The Black Yellows supporters signalled their discontent and exited the Imtech Arena on Saturday to protest against the current ticket pricing discrimination against them.
Borussia Dortmund fans left the stadium to object during their team’s 3-2 loss to Hamburg in their bid to show their concerns over the high ticket prices.
The head coach stated that he understands the supporters' protests and can see where they are coming from, as it is very hard for the less resourceful people to watch the games regularly with the current ticket prices.
The BVB’s longest unbeaten run ended on Saturday when they faced defeat at the hands of Hamburg, after strikes from Son Heung-Min and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ivo-c17401 Illicevic, but the issue was not only the loss at the end of the day. The trainer stressed
that he is in support of the fans over the issue.
The tactician asked the board members to resolve the matter and reach a positive solution. He claimed that the people coming to watch the game overcome difficulties to get in the stadiums and that they should be accommodated. He
said that if 1000 people exit the game, then the problem is of a greater magnitude.
"Who knows what these people endure to be here and support us in the stadium?" he was quoted as saying in an interview.
The manager further added that they need to be cautious over the issue, so that things do not turn worse. As a result, a meeting should be set to conclude a decision regarding the prices.
"If then 1,000 fans leave the stadium, I guess their concerns are quite big. We all have to be careful, that's clear, not to make things worse, there have to be talks,” the former German footballer mused.
"Either they [the talks] were of no avail or have not taken place up to now. I can really understand the protest," the former Mainz 05 striker finally concluded.
Moreover, the club official believed that he is not sure whether the discussions have been made or they were of no use. Klopp said that he sympathises with the protesters and demands a solution immediately.
