The Borussia Dortmund manager is elated with the result and insisted that his side deserved to take all three points from the game.

Klopp claimed that Bayer Leverkusen were strong defensively and admitted that it was always going to be difficult for his side to find the net. He added that the team deserved all three points from the game and the team achieved
its target of securing a win at home.
“It was clear from the very beginning that we will not score a lot of goals against them. We just wanted to win. We've done that, and indeed our triumph is well deserved,” he was quoted as saying in an interview.

“Leverkusen have a very strong team, and possess enormous amount of quality. It was a game of equals. Nevertheless, I think we are worthy winners, because we had the better chances. However, Bayer certainly gave us a run for our
