The Borussia Dortmund manager has vowed to defeat the Munich giants in the final of the German Cup in May.
Jurgen Klopp has expressed his desire to beat Bayern Munich in the final of the German Cup on May 12 at the Olympiastadion. The Borussians qualified for the final after beating Greuther Furth 1-0 in the last four. On the other
hand, Bayern defeated Borussia Monchengladbach 4-2 on penalties in the other semi-final to set up a date with the reigning German Champions in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Berlin-c7536.
The manager stressed that the Black Yellows are looking forward to the final showdown and are determined to win the competition. Klopp admitted that he has remained coy over his team’s title chances this season but now vows to
deprive Jupp Heynckes’ men of another crown.
Klopp also revealed that Dortmund will not make things easy for the Reds who are constantly keeping a close check on their progress in the Bundesliga. He specified that his players are determined to retain their crown and complete
a domestic double this season.
While talking to TZ, the former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/1-FSV-Mainz-05-c38166 boss further added: "People occasionally say that we're acting rather difficult when it comes to declarations of war, so I'll speak up this time: We want to beat them! We know that it will
not be easy, but we're eager to beat Bayern.”
On the other hand, Klopp insisted that it is always a big occasion when Dortmund plays against Bayern. He is confident that the Black Yellows will stamp their authority over Jupp Heynckes’ men, who themselves are desperate for
silverware this term. He assured the fans of a mouth-watering encounter and urged them to come out in large numbers for the final in Berlin.
"Dortmund versus Bayern is the number one in the league versus the runners-up, I'd be excited if I were a neutral fan. It sounds like it could be a good game, and I expect it to be just that," Klopp concluded.
Dortmund currently lead Bayern by five points in the Bundesliga and will be in action against FC Koln on Sunday, March 25. This means that the Reds can pressurise the Borussians by winning against Hannover on Saturday, March 24,
and reducing the gap down to two points.
