Jurgen Klopp is happy with his current squad – Football news
The Bundesliga giants are thought to be close to sign Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from the French side but the head coach claims he is pleased with his existing team.
Borussia Dortmund team trainer, Jurgen Klopp, has rejected the hype around the club’s summer transfers and stressed that he has a quality side at his disposal. Attacking midfielder Mario Gotze left the UEFA Champions League runners-up for fierce rivals’
Bayern Munich.
“We know how we want to play football in the new year, we know our goals,” the former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/1-FSV-Mainz-05-c38166 05 player and head coach said.
Der FCB got the young starlet for €37 million from the BVB and the Signal Iduna Park outfit have not signed any replacement until now. Sokratis Papastathopoulos is the lone player to join the Black Yellows in July. On the other hand, Saint-Etienne forward,
Aubameyang, is rumoured to be on their radar.
“We can’t achieve everything on the first day, we will take the time that is necessary,” the 2012 German league winner was quoted as saying in an interview.
Nevertheless, Klopp feels that the fans need to be patient and he wants more time to sign a player that will improve the team. He further added he is aware of what to do in the next season and the aims have been drafted beforehand. He stated that things
cannot be done in a few days and proper time is required to monitor their transfer options.
“We are very pleased with the team we have so far,” the 2013 UEFA Champions League runner-up mused.
“There are no differences (to the preparation last year) but that doesn’t matter, because I rate all [my players] differently,” the Black Yellows team trainer finally concluded.
Klopp suggested he is happy with his current squad and they are prepared for the upcoming season. Moreover, he rates all his players on a different level. The BVB finished runners-up in the league and Europe’s premier cup competition second to Bayern in
both competitions. Dortmund’s first competitive match of the new campaign will be against Die Roten in the DFB-Supercup in July 2013.
