Jurisdiction tipped to prevail in Hall Green BAGS Stayers
Jurisdiction is likely to win the Hall Green BAGS Stayers at Hall Green in England on Wednesday, July 4, 2012. The Grade OR winner will be awarded a cash prize of £175 in the end.
The race distance to cover will be 645 metres, which will test the stamina of all runners. Most of the participants, lined up for action, have been struggling for consistency over the past few months. Therefore, no one is expected to be completely dominant, and the competition will be an exciting one.
However, only one of the runners will emerge victorious of the lot, and that could be Jurisdiction, who has got a lot of experience at this level, and will definitely attract a few bets from the punters.
The H. Dimmock’s trainee debuted in 2011, and it was clear that, his performances in the longer distance events were quite encouraging.
He delivered a decent result in his first ever Grade OR event, finishing third overall. There were some good runners up against him, but he gave a tough time to all of them.
However, his first victory in this class came in 2012 at Swindon. He was expected to struggle back then, as the bookies had given him a starting price of 10 to 1.
Much to everyone's surprise, he stormed to a comprehensive victory by five lengths and one quarter, which was a huge upset.
The white and brindle dog started well back then, and went onto increase his speed as the finish line approached. He displayed excellent stamina and reached to the top convincingly.
Despite that strong show, Jurisdiction had a few ups and downs this year, which is why he has not been able to win the confidence of the bookies on most occasions.
He has won just once out of his previous five outings in this class, which shows that he lacks consistency.
However, the Westmead Hawk’s son, out of Have A Fit, was unable to make a strong impression in his most recent run, which would have dented his confidence.
He finished fourth overall and totally failed to come anywhere closer to the race winner.
