Jury Duty in Texas ???

I currently live in Atlanta GA been over here for almost 4 years, and just received a summons for jury duty where i am originally from... do i have to go or can i call and let them know i can not make it?

  1. You won't have to do jury duty in Texas because you don't live there. Send the court a copy of your drivers license or other proof of ID showing your current address.


  2. I would recommend both calling and sending a letter with a document proving you are a Georgia resident. Good Luck.PS it could be a license,income,income tax statement ,,or a Voter's registration card,or even a lease.Good Luck
