I have been called for Jury Duty.I would have loved to participate with this except I have had a terrible injury to my knee (tore the cartilage) 4 years ago and unfortunately it effected my mobility. I have not been on a train for the entire duration. Getting into town would be unreal. Doing stairs is impossible; and these days I simply DON'T.I see a Chiropractor for the duration since the incident but it has not 'fixed' my problem; it has enabled me to do short walks and after 3 years; I can once again wear 'normal' shoes. However, I don't think Chiropractors are considered bonefide in the world at large, and although he could possibly give me a letter to excuse me from this I am worried it would not do.Currently I am not under a GP's care; the original doctor who diagnosed the situation was against my getting any operation. What happens if you don't go? Do you get fined? What are the chances that my Chiropractors letter would be acceptable?I am very concerned.
