Jury Service (UK) payment question?

Question

I finished jury duty a couple of weeks ago and have had the payment put into my bank account. However, I'm supposed to supply a breakdown to my employer to show what was for travel, lunch and loss of earnings, with the latter payment being deducted from my wage.

I haven't as yet received a receipt with a breakdown of what was paid for what, does this normally happen and if not are the court likely to produce one for me on request?

Your employer should have provided you with a certificate for you to give the court when you went there.
