  1. Lots of waiting and listening.  Even during the trial.

  2. Annoying as all heck!  $40 a day for 7 days  $280.

Cost me a dive job worth $7000 which would have taken 2 days most.

  3. In most cases they issue you a juror number and tell you to make your self comfortable, and to wait and listen for your number to be called,if you get called then you'll be escorted into a court room where there will be a Judge, and lawyers sitting around at their perspective tables, where they will question you on every aspect that pertains to their case, and if both sides right your answers they'll pick you for the jury, but if either side doesn't like your answer you'll be on your way back to the waiting area.

  4. I've never done it but I know people who have & have found it rather dull.

  5. Dont know!

  6. Boring when you're hanging around waiting to see if you get picked. Interesting and frustrating when you're on a case. We were told the verdict had to be unanimous, but we had one dingbat who just decided to disagree with all the rest of us, which meant that it dragged on for days!

  7. Its all according to the case you are sitting in judgement on!Some cases can be very interesting!Other cases can be very distressing such as child molestation!

  8. Jury Service is a very serious and very important service a lay person is required to respond if called upon.  It's very intense and interesting to participate; but who else can judge your peers if not the common person.

If you can VOTE you can be a participating juror.

    GOD BLESS AMERICA!

  9. Boring.

  10. Pretty boring

Some people try to dominate the discussion. Some won't say anything.

Pick a poor foreman and your stuffed.

The  family of the accused and their friends in the public gallery give you hard menacing stares to try to intimidate you.

When you get back to work there is loads to catch up on.
