  1. Just go and find out.  It's easy to get out of jury duty, just tell them everybody is guilty, especially blacks.  They'll send you straight home.  No, I have no problems with blacks, by the way.

  2. Just go I'm sure both sides will strike you almost immediately.  You will have done your civic duty and get $6 for parking.

  3. they take the public as they find them...you are under no obligation to be someone else for them...

  4. It is up to the judge what he considers disturbs the decorum and dignity of the court. He may object to appearance, clothing, sunglasses, gum chewing, etc. You  might call the court clerk to see about rules. They probably wouldn't object to a cheap wig if it didn't fall off as you declared  "We find the defendant 'guilty'"

  5. Maybe its a good way to get out of jury duty. They wouldnt yell at you.

  6. If you are self respecting why would you want to do this?

You certainly can try it.  I believe the Judge would view it as a stunt to get out of serving on the jury and send you home to clean up and return later for duty.

  7. They'll be glad to see you.

  8. You would still have to serve if the attorney/prosecutor chose you as one of the 12.  You hair color, however, might make them not want you in particular -- or they might like you better because of it.  Depends on what they're trying to prove.

  9. As long as you are dressed appropriately and act in a respectful manner, it's no big deal.  Your notice for jury duty should state the dress code requirements.
