  1. just tell them you had a bad experience at the jury b4

  2. That's right, citizens like you only want to complain about injustice not be a part of seeing that justice is carried out.

  3. Do you have a job that doesn't pay for Jury duty? Thats a  legitimate excuse, also one if you have school, or have children that can't be looked after cause of cost or ability.

Otherwise why not just go? It's your civic responsibility as a citizen anyway, and not going is a crime. So either way you're going to court to argue it out or just wait it out. Most cases, you might not even be called and will be sent home mid day, or at the end of the day without being called up, and your service is done for a year and you get $10 or something.

Last ditch effort if you get called up? Act like an enormous asshat. Biased, uncouth, prejudiced, racist, anything that makes you look like your an incompetent idiot incapable of beig an honest decent human being. They won't call jurors who aren't intelligent, so if if you're really desperate and don't have shame, that might work. :D

  4. You should be proud that you live in a country where we have jury duty, and the right to it.  In some countries, they just assume guilt, and there IS NO TRIAL, NO INNOCENCE!

You might not not even be needed, but if you are, they will pay you, feed you, and you won't have to be at work that day.  How tough is that?
