Jury duty!?

i was called for jury duty, but the only problem is that i no longer live int he state that iw as called for, they actually sent the letter to my mother's and now there is NO way i have money to travel back home just to report...would they excuse me if i send them proof that i moved to another state?

Just read the summons and follow the process.  I am sure it asks if you still live in the State.  In addition, you must show proof of where you live. Library card, Drivers' License, utility bill, pay stub, something of the sort.

Yeah, read the summons.  I think you can send them a utility bill or something.

Yes, you just write on the form that you no longer live in that state.  Of course, then you need to re-register to vote at your new address so you can get summoned in the correct state.
