Jus took 2 speed tests and got an average between the 2 tests of 9940.5 download and 1421 upload 10ping?

whats good and whats bad? are these numbers good?

Those are very good numbers.

Comparable to an office LAN.

The question is, what speed are you paying for?

If your upload speed is supposed to be 15Meg/s, then 9940 is only about 2-thirds of that .

Also remember that those "Speed Test" pages are only for comparison. Speed can be affected by network traffic and by activity on any of the servers in your connection path.

When I want to test the actual "raw" speed of my PC and my ISP, I try to run the test around one or two in the morning on a Tuesday or Wednesday. That way I can be pretty sure that my next-door neighbors aren't affecting my test with their traffic!

Each ISP has it's time of day bottlenecks as well as throttle max. Try speakeasy internet speed test. Sounds about okay. I have comcast and I max.

Depends on what speed your connection is supposed to be. Generally speaking, those speeds are pretty good.
