  1. They're all mental diseases that can be cured (or controlled) through therapy.

h**l, I have the biggest case of enetephobia (fear of needles) out of anyone you'll ever meet. I was finger pricked and passed out. Not because of the blood, but because of the needle. I can look at blood and everything, but put a needle near me and I'll rip your arm off.

It's all mental, I know, but it's not as easy to overcome as you think. Even when I get blood drawn, I think "it's just a needle. People do this every day. I'll be fine." And then next thing I know, I'm passed out and almost having a seizure.

It has to deal with chemicals in your brain that aren't balanced. I remember covering all of that in Psychology. Some of it can be conquered with just therapy, some have to have drugs prescribed to them to help cope.

    It's a harsh reality.

"The fear of blood tends to create fear for the flesh." -- Truest saying...ever.

  2. i have ocd and i am a hypochondriac.

i wouldnt wish it on anyone, but i live with it.

  3. I think I may have OCD my mom agrees that I prob do too

I think they are mental diseases

  4. Hi I am scared about separation from my parents and death

No I think anxiety is an weakness not illness

  5. i think i have ocd and it kinda shows. ya i think it is

  6. i think we all have a little ocd

i used to have it a lot more than i do know

you just kind of move past it usually. don't let it consume you.

  7. I agree i think with a little help and will power they can get rid of "Obsessive Compulsive Disorder".

I dont have it, nor do i know anyone who does but i do know that they have this little voice that says if you dont do this something bad is going to happen..then it becomes like a habbit in a very suspersticious kind of way..

I am very facinated with those kind of disorders actually :)

  8. I don't have OCD and I'm not a hypochondriac.

Anxiety can be a diesese, but its mostly normal. OCD, can be, but if you control it, its just another part of life.

  9. I have OCD and other anxiety problems that are genetic in my case. Being 15 I have a hard time dealing with this problem because they can't prescribe me meds just yet. I have to do a lot of talk therapy and breathing exercises. I have had these issues for as long as I can remember. After I found out what my worst fear was (death) I have come to terms with it and am much happier now. OCD is a mental condition that I wish didn't exist, it is not weakness in the person, they do not wish to have it. OCD can ruin your life if you let it and it takes tenacity to get rid of, but it can be done

  10. I have slight ocd (untreated) and an anxiety disorder (treated). they are chemicals that are unbalanced in your brain.

These can be treated, and those who have them can blend right in society and have a normal life, millions of people in America have these diseases.

I am scared that my anxiety drugs will stop working. It was so bad that i would go days without sleeping because i just couldn't stop thinking about bad things happening. I wouldn't move in the dark until someone turned on the light, cuz a bad thing would happen to me. The garage was filled with ninjas (i know totally random right?!) so i couldn't go down there at anytime and couldn't even walk past the door because they would hear me. Every time i stepped out of the house i kept imaging how many ways i could get killed, kidnapped or raped.  At first i just treated my insomnia, but i became immune to them after a month or two, so currently my biggest fear is that i will become immune to my current medicine, even though it works in a different way.

  11. I believe the exact same thing same with ADHD too!
