  1. I thought it was interesting but not being there and not having access to all the information I can't say either way, but many here suggested it was a fish swimming and someone edited it and look at it again it does move like a fish

I have to say that my true believe side wants to say it was a ghost, but my skeptical side wants to say it is a hoax. I have to be very balanced in my investigations when looking at photos.

    Steve

That is one reason I prefer to rely on my senses because when I see a full bodied apparition like I did when I was forced to know ghosts exist it is not difficult to say that is a ghost.

  2. The movements are like a bug's movements.

How that works with the shape and color is a puzzle to me.

It does seem to have wings and a body when it flies.

It stays the same shape and size, and color.

I'm more inclined to suspect it to be a bug very close to the camera lens therefore out of focus, and reflecting the type of lighting in the area for the color, but I would definitely want to try to recreate this.   I think that may be a challenge!

The behavior speaks loudest to me as a bug.  It just ACTS too buglike.

  3. I don't have a clue...but I'm glad to see you're conscious of your grammar. I thought the internet had changed the whole English language.

  4. that's a hard one. I don't really think its a ghost, but I cannot say what it could be. It may just be an unusual light refraction. No one in the video seems to notice the blue orb until they watch the video feed. I know that a lot of times you don't see anything unusual at the time, but when you watch the video you catch something odd. I have not seen anything like this before. Orbs are usually pretty symmetrical and round, this one seems to be shapeless.  I hope this is something you can debunk!

  5. That blue ghost has been asked about a couple times here already.  The "ghost" gives absolutely no indication of three dimensional motion, it did not cast a shadow, and it was only seen through the camera. These are all excellent indicators that the cause was related to the camera or camera lens itself. As has been described before, the "ghost" moves in a  motion like a fish, or possibly a flexible insect. If the video is a fraud, perhaps a video of a fish was overlaid on the security video. However, it doesn't seem like this the explanation since gas station customers were watching this video live, according to the news story. I think the most likely explanation is a bug on the lens. I would guess a insect like a small caterpillar, centipede or millipede which moves in a motion similar to the "ghost".

  6. I classify myself as a believer ,but I am skeptical when dealing with many "paranormal" claims. To me it too looked like some sort of bug. Generally spirits don't linger for half an hour and then whiz away. Bugs however, will stay focused on  a single source especially if its shiny (like a camera lens) and float for awhile before distracted or bored of what their doing. Had there actually been a spirit I think it would be more apt to hang around people or not be there at all.

  7. It was something on the camera lens. Ghosts don't act like that.

  8. I have to say from an English point of view, we don't get bugs any where near that size  it is an amazing clip though and I have to admit I have watched it over and over, I think it's paranormal.

  9. There they go again.  News stations running a stupid paranormal report with that nauseating condescending smirkiness but still the report is done essentially "straight."  They run teasers for it all night long.  Then before each commercial break they say, "Coming up..." but it doesn't come up until the end.  It's a cheap trick to keep viewers watching.

And there is never any lack of idiots more than willing to spout their confident nonsense in front of a camera.  I wonder how many rational, intelligent people are cut from their final film.

Everything here looked like a bug.  I work where there are 4 outdoor video cameras.  I see stuff like this all the time.  Little bugs on a lens are OUT OF FOCUS!

Good job CNN!  Way to keep America informed!  Let's push that ignorance and superstition since it has historically done so much for humankind.

Oh yeah, and they say, "...turned a lot of non believers into believers."  What???  Believers in what?  You're simply ASSUMING this is a ghost?  Great report.

  10. I'm with you on this one.  There are plenty of reasons to believe this is not paranormal.  I haven't seen anyone (except the oh so credible news team) suggest this is anything else.
