Just Got an Xbox 360 and Have A Few Questions?

I have recently got a xbox 360 for x-mas and i am still getting used to it. My 2 questions are this 1 what are a few good but sumwhat cheap xbox 360 games that are good? Also my mp3 player will not work with my 360 do i have to download something on xbox live? iplug y mp3 into the usb port but doesn't seem to reconize or find it so please help
