  1. one can make a police report..cyber bullying is against the law

  2. "I will ******* kill you simple as that"

That statement alone is what is known as ASSAULT.  It would most likely be tried as a misdemeanor (they'd be arrested for sure), but from this, you could get an Order of Protection.  If this person EVER makes contact to you while the OP is in effect, that is a felony, and they will spend a few nights in Jail!

Call your local PD, and get this guy behind bars!

  3. The cops wouldn't do anything about it where I live, they'd say it was the other persons "freedom of speech".

  4. A death threat is a crime punishable under the Penal Law. Even if it is made online. Be SURE to SAVE all emails, transcripts of chat, everything and report it to the police immediately!!!  Evidence is easily obtained to prosecute...ie, the other person's IP address is logged.  If you honestly feel threatened - go to the police with this!

  5. ignore it

  6. It just cyber bullies. Reporting to myspace was the best thing to do. If you receive an actual threat in person, then call police.
