Okay, Well.. I Am 12 Right Now And I Was Wondering If I Would Be Eligable For The 2012 Olympics. I Started Gymnastics When I Was 5. But I Quit When I Was 10, But I Still Kept Practicing Gymnastics. 2 Years Later.. I'm Going Back To Gymnastics Classes.. By The Time 2 Its 2012, I'll Be Sixteen.. Right Now, I Can Do Backflips And Back Hand Springs. And Splits. And Roundoffs, And Cartwheels. And Double Backflips. On Floor. And On The Beam, I Can Do Back Bend With Kickover.. Some Other Basics. And On The Bars I Can Do The Handstand And The Kip. And I Can Switch Bars During The Routine. Just Wondering What You Guys Think? Would I Be Eligable, And Do You Think I Would Be Good Enough For The Olympics?

  1. as long as u turn16 in the year of the olyimpics and make the team then u can go

  2. I dont know, i think you might have to be 18, the best thing is to ask your trainer. But it sounds like in 4 years you will be really good!!!

  3. im pretty sure

  4. Yep!  You'd be 16 years of age; like Shawn Johnson in the 2008 Olympics.  I'm 14 right now and would like to join Gymnastics as well, so, you'd need to find a personal trainer (or whatever i'm not sure sorry), excel largely in your class, and go to state and etc. and hopefully you'll be picked for the national team!
