Just a challenging thought to make you think...... What is the most "real"?

Question

The chair you are sitting on, the molecules that make up the chair, the sensations and images you have of the chair as you are sitting on it, or something else? Why?

The only real thing is the butt.

For it differentiates what exactly a "chair" is.

A smooth rock can be a chair, yet a rough one is a rock.

A pile of beans is a chair, yet a pot of beans is food.

The look and sound from my old, creaking chair and the painful sensation my butt is feeling after sitting on it for so long. They are very real as four of  my five senses come into play.

Things are not as our short humanly senses perceive.

And as we say where I'm from, "It is, what it is!"

There are many ways to decipher something.

Different opinions. Different minds, thus different understandings, and perceptions.

The chair is all the above.

"real" is a label we have given to things our mind recognizes as absolute. our minds have evolved to recognize physical objects we can touch, feel, taste, exc...... as absolute and tangible.  we can touch, feel,...exc, the chair and not the other things. so the chair is the most "real"

The chair, and it's parts, including molecular structure, are more real than anyone's perception of the chair.  The chair continues to exist even when no one is around (a hidden camera could prove it), so the reality does not depend upon the perception.
