How many total points are there on an SAT test?

The SAT is out of 2400 points.

Each section(reading, math, writing) is on a scale of 200-800.

Therefore, you can't get a score lower than 600 on the SAT.

It's not a stupid question lol.

2400 points, 800 points for each subject. (writing, english, and math.) You get 200 points automatically for signing your name on the test.
