Just a tought on wasting less gas IDK if its right....?

Hello,

Im guessing Im no expert but lets say you put a Small Solar panel on a truck or car to power your lights, radio, alarm etc all the small stuff will that in a way save you gas since the engine wont have to work harder to create that electricity?

IDK if it will work anybody else got any "WIERD" or "JUST CRAZY IT MIGHT WORK" idea.

I was also thinking on some how putting some tubes going directly to the carbulator Like where your air filter goes for your engine to get more air keeping the engine cool will waste less gas correct?

Do electric fans work towards the gas saving?

It's a nice idea, but these things are usually powered by a battery that's charged by the turning of the front wheels.

The vast majority of energy from the fuel

goes toward moving the car.

Air Conditioning is a fairly hefty add-on,

but all the rest of the electrical stuff is small potatoes,

amounting to 1 mpg or less.

all the lights and everything is run off of the alternator wile the vehicle is running and as its running it charges the battery the only time you actually need the battery is to start the vehicle this solar power could be used to charge the battery but it will get you about 15 more horsepower and maybe a mile or two more a gallon a lot of drag cars do this and in between runs they charge the battery by a battery cherger
