how do i make it so AIM doesent pop up everytime my computer restarts bcuz it makes it so slow

  1. yes you can,

    when your buddy list is up, press F7 to bring you to preferences.

    under this click on the tab that says "Sign In/Sign Out"

    then uncheck the box that says "Start AIM when Windows Starts"

    and there you go
