Ok I've been researching and I have a question.

I had s*x aug 15th and I was on the website wiki answers .com and it said that you can feel "sick" morning sickness 2 weeks after your have s*x and it's a early pregnancy sign?? But it was the last day of my period. My period started Aug 11th.

So last night we made love and I think I was ovulating, and my cervical fluid was white/ egg-whites?? Am I looking at the right page here or what? Should I test now, or wait until I miss my period? and we are trying so I'm not young or anything Grown women here. just researching!

  1. if you got pregnant on the 11th it still might be to early to tell. your better waiting until your missed period. at two weeks you can start getting preggo signs

  2. You can try one of the early response pregnancy tests. You still have to wait until 5 days before your period is suppose to start. I personally have had no luck with these tests. I always got positive results once I missed my period. But it can't hurt to test early if you want to. If it's negative test again once you miss your period.  Good luck.

  3. Most likely you would get a negative if you tested now. You wouldn't have enough hormones for the test to pick them up. If your period was Aug 11, I would say you should be fertile around the 25th of Aug. I would wait to test until you have missed your period though. Best of luck!

  4. ovulation is the time when you can get pregnant. You will have to wait at least 2 weeks after ovulation in order to test. (which would be about time to expect your period)

  5. You are ovulating now.  99% I would say you are not pregnant.  The discharge that you described is discharge during ovulation.

That 99% doesn't consider the s*x you had last night.

In that case, if it was unprotected, I would reverse my calculation.  If you aren't ready to be a parent, you need to use protection of some sort.  You might find looking into Natural Family Planning may benefit you in the future.  At least, it will help you understand the signs your body gives you.

  6. If infact you have just recently ovulated and had baby making s*x at the right time, then it will take about 7-10 days (give or take a day) for the fertilized egg to implant and then an additionall few days for the hcg to be read in an hpt.  So there is absolutely no way to tell a day after.  Wait until you miss your period if you know when to expect it.  Usually the luteal phase is ABOUT 14 days (average).  (Luteal phase being the amount of days from ovulation until the start of your next period) So wait 14 days from now and then test.  Best of luck!
