  1. i was on the Caribbean Princess back in November of '06 for an eastern Caribbean sailing. there was 17 of us in the group. a good time was had by all. one couple with us had their 2 young children aboard (ages 2 and 5). the kids had a blast as well. there is plenty to do on board for all ages. they show kids movies by the pool on the jumbotron screen and shows for the adults in the evenings. i'd surely would not have any hesitations booking another cruise aboard that ship.

  2. hmm, actually i found it a little cheaper, but you didnt specify how many people. for two i have  total of $2176.00. with the 100 OBC.

I have been on the Carribean Princess twice, and loved it. The ship is HUGE, great kids programs, golf simulator, theater under the stars, good food, and nice rooms. I think you will have a blast.

  3. The Caribbean Princess generally gets very good reviews, although it IS a huge ship.  Don't know whether that's a "good deal", although it certainly sounds reasonable [it's too late now, so why worry about it?].

For lots of info on your ship and your ports, advice for first-timers, and even to find others who are on your sailing, go to CruiseCritic.com, click on "Boards" at the top of the page and have fun.  There's more info than you could possibly need, and if you don't find what you want to know, just ask.  Everyone there is very helpful and friendly.

    Have a great time.

  4. I've been on 8 cruises all with princess, so that must tell you something. The price you paid is pretty good. I doubt you could have done better. You will have such a great time. There is always so much to do on a princess ship. Kids will have there own special place to go and teens have another place. Bring only warm weather clothes. That's all you need. Now the waiting is the hard part. You will get lots of stuff in the mail as your trip becomes closer with luggage tags, tickets and more info. It is best to book shore excursions as soon as you are allowed to do so, because the real popular ones fill up quickly. It's fun to go on their web site and learn all you can about what to expect and see pictures of you ship and all.

  5. We've been on 3 cruises with Carnival. In 19 days, we're going on the Caribbean Princess. We are looking for something a little upscale from our past cruises. I've read nothing but good things on Yahoo Answers about the Caribbean Princess. Another thing I'm looking forward to checking out is the Skywalker Lounge. There is also a "swim against the current" pool. Princess ships lack the water slide, but feature MUTS. Movies Under The Stars. We'll find out very soon just how cool this ship is!!!
