  1. more of a beach holiday place, try taking the local bus to c'an picafort or porta pollensa and explore round there, its a good hour to Palma so suggest you google alcudia area for other things to do.ther are a few markets up and down that area during the week

    have a nice stay

  2. The last time I was in Majorca was in 1980 so , I'm sure things have changed somewhat.  I did not hang around where I knew all the sailors would be (I was in the Navy) but went sight seeing on my own (actually with shipmates).  None of us were into the beach scene so we strolled around the town areas.  I was impressed by the beauty of the place.  I have heard Majorca referred to as the garden spot of the Mediterranean Sea.  Take the time alloted to you and see everything you can.  You won't be disappointed.

  3. Just a great beach and lots of shops and bars the last time I was there

    See these

  4. stay away from bellevue. worst holiday i ever had.

see the aquapark near palma, take the old railway through the mountains to get there.

see the monastery in the middle of the island.

oh and the caves of drac, portocristo

  5. alcudia has a little water park which is OK but aqua city in arenal is better most hotel offer a day trip to aqua city if you fancy it go to alcudia's water park 1st then aqua city will blow you away take a trip up to the alcudia market it a lovely little place but its very busy the beach i beautiful and it calm and quite shallow for a fair way out try taking a trip down to can'picafort for a nice day out its a quite little place. palma cathedral is nice for a visit and the harbour to see some great ships and boats but the rest of palma is very overrated.have a great time.

  6. Alcudia is lovely BUT terrible for the mosquito's, make sure you have lots of repellent and if you are going to the Bellvue Complex me prepared for lots of mosquito's coming from the lake, the only place you can escape them is at the beach. There isn't a lot of sightseeing tours except for Palma Cathedral but is expensive, Alcudia market in the old town is good but watch your purse/bag.

  7. All over Spain and the islands they have bull fights, flamenco, trips to the markets,,on sunday in certain times of the year they stop cars  the roads and streets  because its a religious ceremony called a corpus christi its beautiful all the flowers are laid on the roads and the streets, ans they walk on them to get to the cathredal its like a homage, they take it seriously has they are catholics, see it at you tube

  8. Cala D'or!!!!!!!!!
