My dad just bought a GPS navigator. Are there any California laws about it that we should be aware of?

  1. The law just changed to allow GPS receivers to be attached to the windshield.  Before they could only be attached to mounts that sit on the dashboard.  However, there are limits on screen size and where you can put the GPS receiver on your windshield.
