Just bought a Peugeot Sum-up 125

Question

Been riding it today and noticed the needle won't go anywhere past 7,000 rpm, it sticks bang on 7,000 despite going up to 13,000 and redlining at 10,000.

Is it restricted and how would i go about de-restricting it

if revs go higher i would suspect its a internial problem. get fixed under warr or buy aftermarket tach
