70,000 miles, 04 plate, full service history, HPi clear, 12 months MOT and 6 months tax.

Do you lot think that is worth it?

  1. You should have asked the question before you bought it !

  2. just a tad much,,,but therea belting car,you should have no probs with it...70'000 miles on a vw...its not even run in yet!

  3. Yes. Good investment. 70,000 is negligible for a diesel that has been cared for. Renew the cam belt well before the recommended mileage for peace of mind.

  4. l think personally you've made a good buy as the vw golf is a reliable car with a strong engine, and if looked after properly should hold a good resale price when you decide to sell it on. mileage may be a little steep for a four year old car, but providing its had its cam belt and servicing taken car of, it shouldn't be a problem

  5. I make that a very good buy - I'd have priced it at £7000.

I assume you're not including any part ex figures...

  6. Sounds about the going rate to me.

  7. Maybe a little steep considering the mileage. But if it is in great condition and is what you wanted, then I would say it's worth it.
