Just bought a car at a auction and having MVD problems.?

Question

Well about two weeks ago I bought a 1994 Acura at a towing auction center.Done a carfax and I knew what had of past history, Iknew my risk. But This week went to get a level 3 inspection and the officer inform me that the Vin on the dashoard does not match the one on the bar under the hood, Lucky the car was not stolen. Well I called the auction center and told me to bring i in later this week they might return my money, but the thing is I already put about $900 into it tofix some damages. I bought it "AS IS" it did not bother me till now. Thinking the title I have belongs to the car but no. What should I do return the car and loss the money i have put in it or apply for abandoned title. i'am lost out in both way. HELP.Tucson, AZ

if you like the car then go for the title if you thinnk it is possible.
