excellent piece of equipment

overall they are reliable. and the extras u can download for them are good. only prob I've had with it which has just started is for some reason even if it had a full battery i have to have a cord connected into the UNIT to switch it on the cord doesn't have to be connected to anything else like a power source.

I forget what map DB it uses.  But just know that map database goes out of date.  If you cannot get map update (or get it cheaply), it is mostly useless in cities with new developments.

i use one and have no problems what so ever from it,they update it pretty often and its easy to do,mine has kept me from getting lost a lot of times,maybe in some cities where their constantly changing things it may be a little slow,but i recently went to Detroit and had no idea of where i was going to and it guided me right to the door of the place i was looking for,good luck.
