and i tried it on my Panasonic pv-gs150; however, only sound comes out of the left side...is there something i have to set to? was this product a lemon? or is it just not right?

  1. The Audio Technics ATR-55 is a mono shotgun mic.

    Download the camcorder's manual here.

The PV-GS150 mic in jack is a stereo-in mic jack.

Neither product is "a lemon". If you want stereo, use a stereo condenser mic... like the PRO-24 or PRO-24CM

They may not be as directional as the ATR55. Real stereo shotgun mics are expensive.
