Just bought the clear blue fertility monitor and confused about the high reading and peak reading?

what is the difference between the two and when do you baby dance??

The monitor picks up two different levels rather than the one that ovulation kits pick up. High shows that the first level is increasing and I think that's estrogen. The peak is combination of the first and the second and lasts two days. Then it will go back to high for another day or two.  From what I have read you should baby dance during high and peak. We had been doing it every other day and went with every day this time. I would not recommend that if he's not used to it. I would try to get some done during first high, definitely during peak and once more during high if you can.

And you pee and put cap back on before putting stick in monitor.

The first cycle will require test on day 6. There is lots of info in the manual to help make the monitor more effective so I would read it cover to cover.
