Just broke up! I need help!!!!PLEASE!!?

Wow! My b.f. and I have been together for over a year. and we where so in love, anyways we still are but we absolutely had to break up! I don't know how to handle it! Don't know what to do, any advice would be great please. I'm just not sure where to go from here, and how to get over it.

Best advice I can offer which has worked for me in the past, is brake off all contact with him for about 6 months. go cold turkey,
