Just caught a spider... what is it?

Question

It is small, it can fit on a dime.

It is black and has a white to light cream colored line on its back.

It was really fast.

what is this thing? is it dangerous?

it was in my bathroom

I live in a suburban chicago town by the way

I can't say what kind it is without a picture, but all spiders are venomous and the little ones tend to have more potent venom.

SPIDER i am so afraid of it.

I think it might be preganet...not sure.

It might still be a baby and might have some kind of spot...but dunno.

It can also be dangerous...

It's probably a lost baby spider looking for it's mom lol

if the white/cream line on the back is shaped like a violin, it might  very well be a brown recluse which are common in the midwest and extremely poisonous..but it also sounds like it might be a wolf spider which are friggin scarry too, but not so poisonous..
