Just curious, but just how much in taxes per year do you pay....?

If you have like a 3 million dollar house in Texas. I heard there's people that pay like 90 grand a year for their house in taxes, is that actually true???

  1. Income taxes run between 5% and 7% of my gross salary.  Social Security tax is 7.65% of my gross pay.  Income tax is about 2.5% of my gross pay.  Property tax is about 2% of my gross pay.  Sales tax is about 1% - 2% of my gross pay.


  2. Taxes on a house depend upon where you live. . .Mine run about 1/4  of it's total worth,  every year. . .but I don't live in Texas. . . nor do I have a 3 Million dollar mansion. . . .:(

  3. state and fed tax right out of the check around 12k. but if you add all the state and fed tax on everything you buy, around 60% to 65% of everything you make. doesnt that suck
