  1. I work for an online retailer and we specialize in selling billiards cues and billiards accessories. In my experience with Cuetec cues I would recommend them. As far as durability, playability (which includes the overall feel of the cue) and aesthetics. This cue does all of these. Like others have stated these cues have a warp resistant shaft, which is a good feature to have. If your looking to not break the bank and get a good durable pool cue I would without a doubt recommend the Cuetec line of cues.

  2. I have a friend who owns a cuetec and he loves it. He is a pretty good player and owned several other high end cues before he got his cuetec , but that's all he uses now. I shot a few games with it and I thought it was okay for the money but nothing special. I think pool cues are a really personal kind of thing. Kinda like ice cream, some folks like chocolate, some like vanilla while others love strawberry. Just a matter of what works for you i guess. Different strokes for different folks( pun intended). If your thinking about buying a cue try out lots of different ones and see what trips your trigger. Never buy a cue based on anyone elses opinion. Your the one that has to use it after all.

  3. Cuetec cues, in my experience are a great cue for a novice:

    1. Novices drop their cues alot and a Cuetec won't ding

    2. They're inexpensive, so if there is a loss of interest they didn't invest alot

    3. They are also straight as an arrow

    4. Owning your own cue(any cue) gives a new player a sense of pride and allows them to have an urge to learn and continue playing, which is great for the growth of the sport

These ar just a few of the thoughts I came up with.  I would like to know from one of the previous comments why it would be so difficult to clean, can't you just wipe it down with a damp rag?  Every stick can get sticky but it usually has to do with the player's sweatines or how humid it is that day.

  4. Hi  Im not sure what you mean,The only two I recall talking about was two I bought for Johnny but they wern't cue-tecs I bought them as gifts for him and they wound up hanging on the wall he doesn't shoot with them. But he likes them go figuer

That is the only two I recall mentioning

  5. Shafts get sticky if you play too much, and you must use their cleaning c**p to get the gunk off, they play strangely compared to solid wood shafts, and the benefits of a "warp resistant" shaft  are extremely overrated by inexperienced players.

And in the end, it boils down to the fact that every single cue I've ever played with (with the exception of the occasional banana shaped house cue) was superior to every Cuetec cue I've used (I've used 4 of them). That's why I would not recommend them to anyone, ever.

  6. I don't have much experience with cuetec cues, but they sure work for Alison.  And you can kick em around in the parking lot with the fiberglass finish and they'll be okay.  I really don't know many people who use them though, so hard to give you a good answer.  Keep rackn em up!

  7. Aint much of an answer Bone

But I will agree with EB but will side up with Matt on this one Kracker makes some points but being able to throw it around in the parking lot is not part of why I like a stick in short I just dont care for them

  8. Well it depends on what you like......I play alot of pool usually at least 2 tournaments a week and alot of games for fun.....I personally don't like Cuetec.....I do not like the way the fiberglass slides through  your hand......I prefer a wood cue.....If you are looking for something in the same price range McDermott makes a Star Pool Cue that is reasonably priced and you can purchase a lifetime maintenance plan......My suggestion would be to go somewhere and familiarize yourself with one......Like one of the comments I read on here the Cuetecs  do tend to get sticky.........
