Just curious...I got these OPK's &&.....?

Since I found out I am pregnant as of August 10th ...I took them for the heck of it && they're POSITIVE??? why??

I've been getting +opks for the best 6 days and I'm currently 16dpo and AF is a no show for now but is really due tomorrow. I'm hoping that some of you baby dust rubs off on me.  Thanks for sharing and giving me a lil more hope :) BTW took hpt for past 3 days and BFN

the hcg hormone and the lh hormone the opks pick up are somewhat similiar.  Some people try using opk's as pregnancy tests, because if your pregnant you will get a positive opk.  congrats on the pregnancy :o)

its because the embryo produces the hormones that an opk test detects and although its not advised to detect pregnancy it can indicate it.

www.peeonastick.com has all sorts of information as to why an opk CAN be used as an hpt even though it's not recommended.  Congrats!
